Island Spa Catalina

You can go because your path is scented with juniper, jasmine and ginger in a cool,  lush botanical garden setting. Or you should go for the fantastic views of Catalina Island and plush seating everywhere and the...pool, spa treatments, steam, sauna, whirlpool... Glorious salads, gourmet meals, decadent mimosas, and  immeasurable happiness. Or just go because Cece works there!  She is FANTASTIC!  She gave me and my friend the treatment where all the toxins are released with scrubs, brushes and oils and then we were deeply moisturized....Cece is so wonderful .  Cece and the whole entire staff - from the waitress to towel attendants - is incredibly efficient, beyond kind, professional and beautiful.    Beauty, relaxing, healthy. Perfect. This is my place in Catalina It will be yours too!

Spent a day at the spa enjoying all the amenities. Relaxing poolside before my treatments, some time in the sauna and then relaxing and enjoying the view from the upper deck. However, the highlight of the day was the best facial I've ever had! Cece was my aesthetician and she was incredible! My skin was absolutely glowing! She has an amazing touch and is a master at her craft! I only wish we lived closer so I could see her monthly!

I just have to give a little rave about how wonderful my experience with Cece was, she has the touch of an Angel . It was the best facial I’ve ever had. I’m really in awe that someone could work so well, and not just doing the facial, but feeling my energy and making the whole experience so relaxing. Can’t wait to return to the Island Spa to get another facial by Cece!

only thing's I had issue with were - The urinal is broken to run constantly, probably wasting hundreds of gallons a day and reporting it to the staff I said they knew about it and just left it like that. This is the attitude, I went in the hotel they have little signs that say every drop matters! I told him they should turn the water off to the urinal and just cover it and say out of order. - cement for the hot tub seat/walls is too rough - steam room is really loud and really hot, I could only stand about 5 minutes before my legs were burning, maybe turn down the frequency and/or intensity of the steam blasts - attendant should check on men's side every hour at least, to wipe up water on the floor and restock the ice rags

Celebrated my birthday with my husband in Catalina. I choose relaxation so the Island Spa was perfect. We had a couples massage which was magnificent. Then we came back for facials. Getting access to the facilities while you wait for your treatment is plus! The staff is great! Can't wait to come back!

It’s a wonderful place to relax and to share with your couple, a little group of friends or alone. It’s clean, small but perfect to have a comfortable day. The massages are really good and the essences smell amazing. The employees are really cute but only one blonde lady that we think is the boss because doesn’t have uniform she is so weird and she wasn’t kind to us the first time that we went to know about this place. That’s the reason that I give this beautiful place 4 stars

Absolutely love the spa! It’s the most peaceful spot in Avalon. We go every year when we visit and it’s always great! This year we got facials and they were truly excellent! Cece, our esthetician, gave one of the best facials we have ever had! My skin still feels amazing and I loved the products she used. My whole family got facials as well and we all agreed. The spas amenities and lovely and this year they got new lounge chairs and sofas that were very nice and comfortable! Only complaint (if you’d call it that) was they got rid of the eucalyptus shower spray they used to have in the showers. They still sell it, but it wasn’t available to use and we love that stuff!! While the cafe could have some more options, the salad I had was great and so was my iced tea. They serve you wherever you are sitting which is nice and you can’t beat eating up on the patio with an amazing view!
